Sales Master Thread - Great recommendations

Out now, in one boxed set: Last Hero Standing!

This set is only available for one month. For the entirety of that time, you can buy the eleven stories, some of which are novel length, some novellas, for just 99 cents.

Every single penny from the sale of this set will go to author Pamela Clare, who was diagnosed early this year with breast cancer. All the authors involved, as well as the cover artist, editors, etc, donated their work, their time, and their royalties, in order to help a colleague and friend.

If you are interested in trying any of these authors, the price cannot be beat. Consideri purchasing this set through MyMedia's aStore using this link.

One Courtney Milan book free for the entire holiday season!

I have spoken elsewhere of how much I enjoy Courtney Milan's books, so I won't repeat myself.

If you want to try her writing, without risk, Ms Milan is offering her full length novel, The Countess War, free for the entire holiday season.

Free.

From your favorite online retailer.

kindle | iBooks | nook | kobo | google play | smashwords | all romance ebooks.

No gimmicks, not tricks, no joke.

Free.

Smart, funny, well plotted, well written, great historical research and impeccable characterization.

For free.

Go. Read a good book.

Want to try Steampunk? Good news: free Meljean Brook novella!

I've spoken before of my love of Meljean Brook's Iron Seas world. I love the characterization, the alternative history--which is complex and yet easily accessible in the shorter stories--, the technology--ditto, and what makes this steampunk work so fantastically well--and just her writing.

In short, she rocks.

And right now, for a limited time (just 'till Thursday), her Iron Seas short story/novella "Wrecked" is available, free, at amazon.com

Free.

Go.

Get hooked on a story (and a series)

Will do...I've always wanted to try it, but I didn't know where to start.

Behind on reading while I'm working on new manuscript, but this looks short, right? I'll start soon

Re: Want to try Steampunk? Good news: free Meljean Brook novella!

Short and sweet.

One of the things I love about this particular series is that each story is self-contained, even in those cases where characters from previous stories show up--there's no info dump, the world building is integrated flawlessly into dialogue and description.

IMO, of course, YMMV
