Mr Mo, did Allen take over from Ryan? Where did he come from? I mean, his former team and position.

Head coach at Oakland Raiders, iirc, Hodge. '15-'16 was his first season in the big easy.

Spoiler: notes
gift cards make great gifts both for shoppers who are lazy and/or have a lot of gifts to buy. They're also a shrewd choice if there are individuals in your life for whom it is difficult to shop. When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

Please consider doing at least some of your holiday shopping through our astore this year.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

When the Saints fired Shaggy he was almost immediately hired by Wrex the be the DC in Buffalo. I think he might have gotten a haircut last season in the hopes of confusing opposing coaches, or something. Don't know or particularly care what either is doing now.

Now I remember him, Mr Mo.

This doesn't surprise me in the least bit.

I heard when they die, they'll be buried in the same coffin.

Oh, here's something you may not have known. Rex and Rob Ryan, although they look alike, are fraternal twins.

He's one player who will not be replaceable in-house, unless there's a gem in there no one can see yet. Just puke.

Hightower, Edelman, Ninkovich, and all the off-season losses.

If Bill and staff can mold this team into something by the playoffs, I'll be impressed with an AFC title game.

Well, the offensive line looked a little better today (at least during the first half). Flowers and Van Noy are looking pretty good on defense, with Butler steady in the secondary. And we still have a strong receiving corps, with Cooks' addition and a healthy Gronk (though I don't know how bad Hogan's injury is). Between Lewis and Gillislee, the running game seems solid. But the wins are not the blowaways we're used to. Hard to say how this season will play out, but you're right, it will be a challenge all the way.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

How 'Bout Them Cowboys!

Looked pretty good in all three phases of the game. Got a couple of Defensive turnovers. Got a blocked FG attempt, returned for 86yrds. Got several sacks.

It was a nice day at the office. 33-19!

ETA: After watching the Cowboys at Washington game yesterday, I wanted to reiterate, football is a game that should be played under a domed stadium on artificial turf. So let it be written. So let it be done.

And Deshaun Watson is gone for the season, torn ACL in practice. Just...damn it.
