Hello officially, random poster.

Some life advice: The secret to happiness isn't about getting what you want but about wanting what you have. People admire ambition, but they envy contentment.

Life is too short for bad bourbon, especially if it's corn liquor. That stuff can give anybody an existential crisis.

gift cards make great gifts both for shoppers who are lazy and/or have a lot of gifts to buy. They're also a shrewd choice if there are individuals in your life for whom it is difficult to shop. When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

Please consider doing at least some of your holiday shopping through our astore this year.

Re: What's New/Ancient dildos + other cures for swooning

I have the craziest day. Not sure how I'm going to keep everything straight. First, I have to go teach Zumba, then go make copies of notes for tonight's class. If you recall, last week I couldn't even count money for that.

Then I need to pack all my stuff up to do a book discussion and signing (I think I know what I'm going to talk about, but here's hoping I don't start Zumba-ing instead). That starts at 4 pm. Always stressful, because it's impossible to know if there will be attendees or not.

From there, right to writing class, hopefully I get a chance to eat something. I'll pack a snack for the drive. So then I'll switch gears, get set up, teach 2 hours of the second class in the course, and also try to find a way to help the one student not interrupt.

I'm going to be seriously stress-sweating.

If you are worrying how you’re going to keep everything straight my suggestion is to check back in here periodically and read that post.

You’re welcome

You should write a book about a subject like this:

OMG

That will segue nicely with the ghost fan.

I shall call the series "Demonic Appliances"

I hope it's familiar with Asimov.
