Love this series--so great to bring it to present time and have the characters & stories be even more brilliant (imo).

Just finished - want more.

And I don't think he pulled the trigger.

Re: Sherlock on BBC - Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss

Just found this on Netflix. I'm only partway through the first episode but so far I like it. It was bugging me where I knew the guy playing Watson from, then I realized it's Tim from The Office.

Anyway, I like the little things like how Sherlock has to use nicotein patches because he wouldn't be able to smoke anywhere.

He was also Arthur Dent in "Hitchhiker's Guide" and I think he's going to be Bilbo.

I love it when Sherlock gets bored.

Yes! I had a feeling I knew him from somewhere else too.

Re: Sherlock on BBC - Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss

I just got this for my birthday. The younger brother is always late. Evenso, his wife (the truer mystery watcher) and he recommended this highly. I have watched two episodes and I (a serious slave to Brett and Burke/Hardwicke) am so far happy and delighted. This Sherlock has a little of the Dr Who hyperactivity. I like that Watson is ready to dive in. I also like the visualization of words, images and maps. And that Moriarty. What a son of a bitch. And on a side note: I like that Watson's sister has more modern inclinations; that Holmes hates everybody (not just women); that because Holmes is so weird Watson inquires about a boyfriend; that Watson is already piercing Holmes' cerebral veneer with a hint of surprise (the halting of reciting the traits of the soldier shooting suspect and the end of 1). On the other hand, I dont know about this Mrs. Hudson. Seems a bit flighty without being entirely tough (like the wonderful Rosalie Williams). Maybe the new Mrs. Hudson will find her way.

Meanwhile some dude needs to hit on the new Holmes. I volunteer. I need some information so that he might vainly attempt to flirt it out of me.
