RocketSurgery First-Watch: Doctor Who

First-Watch: Doctor Who

No Spoilers Please.

But if you want to tell me the episodes I should not watch alone, that would be fine. I get scared easily.

YESSSSS.

So, because you didn't, I'll go ahead and lay down: NO SPOILERS.

Starting with S1E1:

What do you think about the Doctor?

How do you feel about Rose?

And, things to consider:
The Nestene Consciousness referenced a war, in which the Doctor took part, in which their home planets were destroyed. Pay attention to that.

Rose hesitated to enter the TARDIS that can travel anywhere in the universe, but then went along with the Doctor when he mentioned "it's also a time machine."
Would you?

I liked his quirkiness. The way he gives so very little information and you have to act on it or not - and Rose just goes for it.

How do you feel about Rose?
So far I like her.

ok! I thought it was important.

Rose hesitated to enter the TARDIS that can travel anywhere in the universe, but then went along with the Doctor when he mentioned "it's also a time machine."

Is seemed she wanted to go when he first asked, and that was the tipping point / appealed to her adventurous spirit.

Would you?
Likely not.

Re: RocketSurgery First-Watch: Doctor Who

As far as you being scared-- there are many people who will Dr Who Doula-- Whoula-- you through this.

Ep2 will not scare you, although it may make you sad.

Ep3 is okay.

Ep4-5 are silly and absurd.

Ep6 is when you might start to understand the characters and the plot arc of the season.

We'll go from there.
