Re: Twin Peaks - Showtime Sunday

Well ?

Whens this spoiler silence over ?

WTF kind of ending was that ?
SHIT, we got more answers in LOST. and LOST's ending made me cry like a little baby..

Still, thank you Truff for getting me interested.
It was fun.

At least we got some answers.

I guess another season is up for grabs.
or not.

Re: Twin Peaks - Showtime Sunday

Ok. Its been over 24 hours.

This shit went nowhere!

Never found out what that "mother" thing was, HAD to have been this Jowday thing Flynch explained in the first five minutes of ep 17.

that's Kinda all we got. A simple explaination right from the horses mouth.

All that, be it awesome or not, ep 8 stuff was all Lynchian fluff. Artistic film school fluff.

So bowies character.. Jeffries, did what?
Sent Cooper into another alternate timeline to save Laura from her fate on Feb 23, 1989..

And WTF happened then?
She gets yanked away.. and Coop finds himself wandering around.. only to end up at Judy's diner..
Not RR where Laura worked..
But asks or assumes Laura worked there.. then ends up finding an alternate Laura Palmer..

WTF did any of it mean?
I'm dissappointed.

Also, absolutely no explaination of what that black dot owl thing meant..

Re: Twin Peaks - Showtime Sunday

I don't think they were offering answers because the story is setting itself up for more seasons to go. If S3 hadn't been well received i'm sure it would have ended in a finale but the studio probably wants more based on reception. All in all, I liked this latest outing of TP. So Coop is off tripping thru the 4th and 5th density universes in the past, finding and then losing Diane and picking up an alt-Laura and on the hunt for Bob's mother.

Re: Twin Peaks - Showtime Sunday

Did you read the above link/theory ?

Coop isn't in some other dimension, he's in OUR reality.

The woman who owns the actual Palmer home in real life, is the woman who answered the door.

The Gas station is also a real place in our world.

"See you at the curtain call"
Is a reference to the end of a play when all the actors come out on stage.

Read the link. I really don't think we'll ever get a season 4.

Re: Twin Peaks - Showtime Sunday

Mark Frost is on side with a tweet that suggested ep17 was the end of the old mystery and ep18 was the start of something new.... just saying. True fans will decide this.

https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/c...is_on_twitter/

Too early to tell which universe they're in. The position and spacing of the stars will decide that.
