Where would you choose to live.

If you had the option, where would you live with and why?

Consider that you would not be living alone. There would be at least a dozen or so in your group. You would not have to seize the ground. It would be abandoned and the previous occupants are not factor.

Woodbury for sure, just without the Governor running the place.

Re: Where would you choose to live.

The Kingdom. But without the tribute to the Saviors. Screw that. Anyway the Kingdom has all the aspects of humanity I like including agrarianism the arts hot warriors a constitutional monarchy and a tiger.

In second place the CDC. Bump off the suicidal guy and take over that fortress. Supplies and showers. A dream. And if a sane scientist comes along well all the better.

And in third place keep moving. None of the other places have enough happiness. I like my insane leader joyous and not murderous psychopaths.

Re: Where would you choose to live.

Woodbury had a good set up. Obviously without the Gov.

The CDC was mostly underground and it wasnt feasible to hang outside - might as well be dead.

Morgans set up was cool , but wouldnt survive a herd.

The hospital where Rick woke up - already taken over by walkers.

Hershel's farm - too out in the open, protection overly limited.

Okay, I will stop there.

Re: Where would you choose to live.

From the TV show, i'd say Woodbury pretty easily.

In the comics, Hershel's farm might just win out, but it would be close between the two for me.

Re: Where would you choose to live.

The Kingdom seems like the best set up.

They have great agriculture, don't seem to lack for food or any supplies, SUPER big walls and safety, and all of the cosplay stuff would still be laying around, right?

If they could get the mechanicals all purposed as needed, I always thought the prison was a great spot.

In a few early threads I had suggested the deep trench/moat idea. Commandeer some excavators, dig some long deep holes, blast a siren, and burn these lame ass walkers. Simple, right? Maybe not easy, but simple. Can't figure why we haven't seen that yet.

It took me a while for "FIRE MOAT" to occur to me.

The issue with the prison is that it's so dreary.

Indeed, and the ability to refresh one's self is important. Yet in the time of an apocalypse, I personally would want the constant clock in clock out reminder that I need to be ready for anything until the issue is resolved, and my cell/cells/wing would be stocked like a bomb shelter.
