Sobs.

Man, the Smokies sure make absolutely beautiful pictures. Sad that I can't
drive the few miles to get there and see, again, for myself.

Had a short talk with that other sister, which always upsets me.

I hope catnap and I can continue whatever we are doing.

Can I talk to myself with you ladies?
Course you can!

And thanks I'm getting there!

lmao I don't know how you can do that. I don't think I've ever binge-watched a show in my life. Well, my kid and I did S1 of Stranger Things in one day, but I'd seen it already, so I just sort of watched with him.

My sig is Agents of Shield. Which is my love.

But, right now it's a week between episodes. And last week's episode was SO GOOD and I want the next one SO BAD.

So I figured I could fit this show in to help with the AoS craving. It should at least take me through until Friday.

Shockaroo!

A friend of Sis's called - she wanted to know if she could bring over a chicken pot pie! And just last week I told Sis how I hated chicken pot pie. Maybe a homemade one will be different. But that was so sweet of her to think of me.

So, as unPC as I am, I'm hearing this very thick Southern accent, and I know I can be awful, but some local accents hurt my ears But, anyway, I asked her how Southern I sounded Of course she was perplexed, but she said she couldn't really tell, but added "It's definitely not Memphis or New Orleans".

Dreary day here. I'll get with Lucy tomorrow.

I'm so bad . . .

The crows around here are nearly as big as dogs. When they start flapping their wings and come flying towards me, caw-caw-cawing, I feel like Dorothy.

Is your school out already? Or are you just watching at night?

I bet a homemade chicken pot pie would be amazing. Now I want one.

I have like 20 bluejays now that expect peanuts every morning. They were meant for the squirrels, but things got out of hand.

School lets out Wednesday, but I took a personal day today.

I've been watching since Friday night. I'll have to work tomorrow and Wednesday, but then I'll be clear. I might finish before the new AoS episode airs, this Friday.

Re: What's New/Chairing Under the Influence

I usually need some time between episodes to process. Maybe not a week though. That's too long.

Re: What's New/Chairing Under the Influence

I don't know what episodes you are talking about.

We are nearly (December 22_ going to have more daylight. I can't stand all these too long dark days.

But at the same time, what does it matter to me? I go nowhere.

If I'm not around in the near future, let me give thanks, and realize at the same time that I am very selfish at this.

The blinding pain that I've had for so, too long is about gone. I'm not screaming in agony anymore. It has been far too long that I've not been writhing and squealing. I am not quite walking yet but I can some. I'm no longer peeing and worse in bed because I couldn't get out to reach the bathroom (Sis had to clean up after me).

Sis has her load at least halved, and I cannot thank her enough. And I cannot imagine how some of you have been through worse. I was about done with it Too much pain.

And here I am. I have survived. Almost, not quite, but almost, normal.

So, I'm thankful to whatever has healed my body. You would not believe this difference.
