The film "The Men Who Stare at Goats" is a fictionalized account of an actual Remote Viewing program by the military.

klh..

I think you'd know if it were done to you.
think, "brain to brain communication"..

PS..

you might only need to capture the wave-function of the sets of neurons responsible for the required EEG nodes.

each neuron would have its own WF.

each set would also have its own WF.

Re: What are your thoughts ? REAL WORLD MIND READING

"yay"

‘Brain-to-Text’ system converts speech brainwave patterns to text

I told you this crap is real.
now imagine simple, text to speech software and voila. mind reading.

http://www.kurzweilai.net/brain-to-t...tterns-to-text

wait till the world discovers this can be done covertly with nothing more than quantum tomography performed on an unsuspecting, sleeping person.

note to forum, : keep watch for quantum tomography, duplicating systems, defeat of no-cloning theorem... quantum cloning via the wave-function.

"macroscopic entanglement" via https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantu...on_measurement

I know nobody seems to care, NOW, but hell, up in canada we are up in arms about police "carding" practices... so imagine a future where mind reading becomes part of "law" enforcement.. how far are we willing to go ? how many human rights and privacy laws are we willing to "overlook" in order to "serve and protect" ?

Re: What are your thoughts ? REAL WORLD MIND READING

With brain to text, does it come up only in whatever language the person is thinking in, or can you set it to English?

Re: What are your thoughts ? REAL WORLD MIND READING

well, it wouldn't take much to translate speech to text & the text via translation software, the text to speech...

http://translation2.paralink.com/

https://www.ivona.com/

ie : vonne gets tomography done on her brain.. copies the entire wave-function.. then gets her mind duplicated as the quantum system it is.. then entangled to her real mind via, literally, isomorphisms, bijective mappings.. correlation techniques..

and thinks.... "mmm, spacetime sandwich" in Italian or whatever she might speak naturally..

then the computer, via the entanglement, reads this as in the above link.. and converts "speech to text"....

then throws that text through translation software...

"panino spaziotempo"

which is then turned into speech FROM the text translation..

and heck, add a "italian" accent to it if desired..

voila. instant translation, mind reading.. from english to italian.

Re: What are your thoughts ? REAL WORLD MIND READING

How did it know what letters constructed the words in my brain?

What if I'm thinking in gibberish?
