He can hang out with Bonds and they can sympathize with each other "Why won't anyone sign me?"

The thing is, we should all like TO. He stays out of trouble, no drugs or bad habits. From all indications, he is amodel citizen, even a potential role model. Something happens to him within the team dynamic, though.
Maybe because he is a me-me-me big crybaby?

I don't care how well oiled a machine the Pats are or how "good" a coach Bellicheat is... if any one man can bring a team down and screw up any chemistry on the field, it's T.O.

T.O. and Moss on the same team is a complete meltdown just waiting to happen.

yeah, but ya know whats sick? ...someone will sign them..for millions of dollars and then the whole thing will start all over again...

...and can you even imagine Moss and TO on the same team...TO giving his crying "thats my quarterback" speech cause Brady is off in Mexico with his supermodel wife...and Moss is being booked for assualt...That really would be priceless.

Why the eye roll?

We agree, then, to the T.O. point, and the Pats machine greatness. Good. I'm satisfied.

Re: The NFL Thread Pt. II

How 'bout the Cheatriots get both Ocho Stinko & TO.
That way they can have 3 WRs that'll drop the ball & whine bout not getting the ball enough.

So the contention is that Bill Belichick is a cheater because he had cameras set up in areas they weren't supposed to trained on coached signalling in plays? OK, fine. Why? "Well, becuase it's against the rules."

So, if a coach holds more practices than the league allows, gets caughts, and forfeits a draft pick as punishment, then I guess that coach is a "cheater", too, becuase he "broke the rules." Right?

Anyone want to guess who that coach was?

Spoiler: Answer
Bill Cowher, Pittsburgh Steelers

NFL teams that use hand signals tend to send in 2-3 different sets, with one person being the "hot" caller. Anyone who thinks Bill was going in at halftime, dissecting over one half hour of tape and getting an advantage in the second half is, well, I shouldn't say.

Re: The NFL Thread Pt. II

Actually from what I've found is this:
Quote:
The Steelers know something about such penalties. On two occasions they have lost third-round draft choices for minor violations of NFL rules. They were caught wearing shoulder pads at minicamp in 1978 and lost a pick in the 1979 draft. They were found in a minor violation of the salary cap and lost a pick in the 2001 draft.
That's a far cry from what the pats were doing.
If I was commish.
I would've made 'em forfeit any game there was evidence of taping & banned belicheat.

If you're not cheating, you're not trying and if you're getting caught, you're not trying hard enough.

Re: The NFL Thread Pt. II

Well, it's said with a bit of tongue in cheek.

However, I hope no one here is naive enough to think that only the Pats, or Steelers, are the only ones doing stuff like this. That's not to say everyone is cheating, because I don't believe that, but I also don't believe it's an isolated incident.
