I did watch Ep. #5 (Unearthed) last night.

For some reason, I don't mind all of the cliches when it comes to this series.

Finally found out about Bobo and his past.

So, his parents are racist. That goes a long way to the environment we find ourselves in today.

We also finally got rid of Manfred's nemesis, Hightower. Manfred and granny really played this guy for a fool. But, what happened to the guys daughter was awful.

And, supposedly, Creek told her father she's grown and she's going to do what she wants to do. You go girl!
Oh no, I hope you didn't spoil yourself, but possibly you did. However, each episode seems to build upon itself and you could still watch that Unearthed epi and enjoy it.

Mr Bill have you been watching this show at all or do you just post for it?
I can not remember your tv watching style, but this show isn't too bad at all. Mr 9mile and I are really enjoying it. We like to have our monster show each week.

Hi 9MM, Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch this show, but I am trying to post the weekly episode info for general discussion.

Nah, once I saw "scenes from the last episode" and realized I hadn't seen any of them, I changed channels.

I've just got this latest episode, and I'll be caught up.

I'm caught up now.

Boy, I didn't suspect it would be Connor having a secret. They really set us up with the dad who barely said anything except telling Manfred to stay away from his daughter.

Joe is out of the closet, so to speak. Watching him spread his wings made me think of the series, Lucifer. The wings in both series look similar.

So, with Joe being a "fallen angel" is that what's bringing the chaos to Midnight?

Rev. Sheehan had no choice but to tell the others about someone in their mist was keeping a secret.

What did everyone think of Lemuel administering the coup de grace to Conner? Yeah, he killed several women, but was it necessary for the residents of Midnight to be the judge, jury and executioner?

Oh, and Creek told dear old dad to stay out of her life. He hid Connor's problem from her and the rests of the town. Can't blame her.

Oh my, never thought of him as a fallen angel, but as an angel who left, still an angel but........ but now you've given him a whole new connotation. Hmmm. I hope he stays on the good side though.

I was surprised by his actions. A typical vampire killing with that quick twist of the neck, but it severe. Connor knows all the ins and outs of Midnight and he could really mess up the town if he was kicked out/left besides killing more people. Was there another alternative? Possibly since the Reverend is locked into the basement once during the month to protect others. Most of Midnight's denizens are self regulated. Connor apparently had nothing good about him.

I thought Creek's hate to her father will be revisited and it will change. This whole family seems to have more issues to deal with.

Re: Midnight, Texas NBC Monday

Man-o-man! Didn't expect the synopsis of Joe and Chuy's relationship. Plus, the ramifications of such a connection.

What did Joe call the type of Angel after him? I'd be curious to know whether that is a proper name?

I found it strange that everyone's secrets weren't known by the others. Okay, I can understand Chuy's, but not the others.

Now, according to Joe, Manfred was brought here for a reason. Wonder whether that was the reason grandma sent him there?

Re: Midnight, Texas NBC Monday

Wow, what a synopsis, I agree.
I was listening for the type of angel Joe said he was and I didn't catch it. Anyhow, there are supposed to be 7 levels of angel starting at
plain ole regular angel
archangel
powers.......
thrones...... the orded of these three I do not know
dominions..
cherubim
seraphim------ I think the cherabim are the closest to God

Bowie was nasty, however I wished she would have stayed around for another episode because she was also a great actor.

Apparently Manfred sticks around Midnight "because of her". Is there going to be more to Creek than we suspect?

Olivia told Lem there is a limit to their togetherness as she will age out (haha). She doesn't want to be turned. I wonder if Lem is going to take things into his own hands and turn her no matter what. If that happens I think Olivia will not be a nice vampire like Lem.

Re: Midnight, Texas NBC Monday

Oh, next week there will be a TWO DAY season finale. Monday at 10 then again on Tuesday at 10.
Woo hoo.
Gotta mark my calendar.
On Demand is nice, but when I tape it I get to slide through the commercials.
