Re: What's New/The Postman Always Emails Once

The sum total of what my county has for Donaldson:

A Man Rides Through
This Day All Gods Die
The Runes of the Earth
Fatal Revenant
Against All Things Ending
The King's Justice
The Last Dark

That's it. My county has a pretty fantastic library system, but sucks when it comes to fantasy, and is only slightly better when it comes to sci-fi.

They also don't have Endless Nights (though they have the rest)

This is just cruel. You have book 2 of Mordant's Need, a 2 book series; book 5 of Gap, a 5 book series; all 4 books of The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, but none of the books from The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant; and some two-novella compilation i hadn't even heard of until now (though since he published it under his own name it's probably awesome and i'll get it at some point. (Warning about that - Mordant's Need is a fun read, but it's not great, and it was a lot more fun before M. Night Shambalaya started cranking out movies. Everything else in his own name is great.))

Seriously I should write a strongly-worded letter.

I mean, just ONE copy of fantasy books should be fine. I'll put a hold on it and wait. But to not have any copies, in the entire county (VERY LARGE, RICH COUNTY), it's absurd.

I recommend our library system purchase books all the time. You can do it right through our online catalog here.

Re: What's New/The Postman Always Emails Once

I'm buying a beach house in Ormond Beach, Fla.
I am having select people from L-TV down for a vacation together. You get yourself down there, and everything else is on me.
Several people through their insolence and misdeeds have been ruled out. If I am not mistaken, I still have 3 or 4 spots available. Vonnegut and her family are in. Cat and Maturin are in. Mr and Mrs Mo are in. I'll have to go back and check the records to see who else is currently on the accepted list.
