Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted, but it's perpetually broken, and when it does work at all, the liquid substance it creates is very watery.

I wish my whole family would all move someplace a little warmer.

gift cards make great gifts both for shoppers who are lazy and/or have a lot of gifts to buy. They're also a shrewd choice if there are individuals in your life for whom it is difficult to shop. When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

Please consider doing at least some of your holiday shopping through our astore this year.

Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted, but your family moved to Hawaii and a big volcano erupted, so the street they live on is now a lava moat. And helicopter rental rates skyrocket.

I wish there were a vegetable that tasted like moo goo gai pan, and was cheap.

Granted, but it looks and smells like a pile of maggots.

I wish i could give perfect Chritmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa presents to everybody on these forums.

HEY! moo goo does NOT smell like maggots, it be tasty.

I second your wish, but of course the mail delivery people decide to steal it, so we all get empty packages.

MM & ZoW - "wished they could give perfect Chritmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa presents to everybody on these forums"

Wish granted, we all wanted money so you ended up writing checks and someone gave you invisible ink... when at the bank trying to cash, we all get arrested trying to cash checks with nothing on them!

I wish it was Friday, 5:00 PM ALL the time!

Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted!

BAM! Oumuamua is the first known interstellar object to pass through the Solar System. It was discovered on a highly eccentric hyperbolic trajectory by Robert Weryk on 19 October 2017, 40 days after it passed its closest point to the Sun.

Sadly with all this new info you forgot your name and where you live.

I wish I had 10 weeks vacation not 5... 5 isn't enough!

Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted but now you have to pay your boss for the time off instead of receiving paid leave.

I wish Terry Pratchett hadn't died so young, so he could've written more fantastic Discworld books. (and note that i specified fantastic please)

Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted, Terry lives to a Fantastic age of 250 years old. Sadly, he does not write another single thing.

I wish I had a winter home in Albany, Bahama... right next to the golf course!

Re: Corrupt A Wish

Granted, but sadly the eastern antarctic ice shelf unexpectedly collapses centuries ahead of projections and the Bahamas are now all under water.

I wish i could find my favorite pajama bottoms.
