Hodge, after rewatching the whole episode, I think Joe just called her "ancient". Let me know if you hear anything else, love those possible Easter eggs.

Oh me, too. Did they have a romantic relationship of some sort? Or was it one sided or was it just all about the demon? Bowie was pretty demonic imo.

Last Temptation

And I always thought Granny's neck hole was from a bullet wound and this caused her death. Nope. It was "the cancer". I think she'll still be around from time to time, well I hope because she was sweet. Didn't she start to look better than when she started out?

The faceless demon reminded me of some kind of dinosaur.

What is going on with Lem and Olivia? Is it the "veil" falling that is affecting both of them? I don't like seeing them this way.

Anyhoo, the next episode is happening on Wednesday night, tonight actually. I believe this will be the season finale. It's been a fun watch, I do need my monsters, and it would be good for me to have it return next summer.

Mr. Bill, are they trying to dump all of the episodes because they're not bringing it back?

I really don't know Hodge. The finale is next Monday, Sept 18th. Maybe they needed to complete the series for a deadline, a new show coming up in the slot?

eta:

It's actually related to the hurricane coverage.

Originally, the supernatural series was to air two episodes next week, on Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12 — thus landing the finale on Monday, Sept. 18.

The regular Monday outing is unaffected. But with the hour-long telethon airing that Tuesday at 8/7c (followed by America’s Got Talent from 9 to 11 pm), Midnight, Texas‘ ninth of 10 episodes will now air Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10 pm. The freshman finale stays put on Monday the 18th.

I'm caught up for tonight's episode.

The ending of this episode was a little corny, but overall I truly like this series. And, I can tell you its the characters. Speaking of characters, I noticed for the first time in the episode start-up, the population is quoted. Has anyone caught the amount? We saw quit a few stand-ins in this episode, especially in the restaurant.

We also got a name for "whatever" is coming to town. Anyone recall "its" name? And, its going to make Fiji "its" own. Bobo is going to fight like a man possessed to keep Fiji for himself.

Speaking of Fiji...glad she put together a potion to keep everyone safe from "whatever" this thing is. And, this is the second time we've seen her emote her power to brings things to her by magic.

Also glad Manfred made it back to Midnight. So grandma had a vision right before she passed away, that he's going to help save Midnight. He can't deny what he was told by Joe now. He's somehow going to help the town survive.

So, we've got two more episodes to go in this first season. I've truly enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to "it" coming back.

I tape the episodes and watch them at my convenience, too

The first bolded............. It's been shown in the opening credits since the get go but the number is not clear at all. I'm going to have to rewatch and listen for this info

Second bolded ...... That name, yes, it is KoKonu. LOL it sounds Hawaiin

Italicized ............ Since you brought that up saying Bobo will have to fight like a man possessed it makes me wonder if Bobo and Kokonu will have anything in common? Hmm

You're right, 9MM. You can't make out all of the numbers. Its 70*. I don't know if its 700+ or 70+.

I looked it up on G**gle and they spell it with a (t) at the end (Kokunut).

KoKonut
demons - Kokonut 2.0: Amdusias is one of the Kings of Hell and usually depicted as a man with a Unicorn's head.

The only thing they'll have in common are their feelings for Fiji. Curious whether "it" finds her powers something he wants to add, or is it just that he feels a "kinship" to her?
