Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

I don't know how it will all play out--after this weekend, there's no predicting anything--but all of the playoff-experienced teams with veteran QBs other than NE are out, so I guess that's what I preferred.

Couldn't possibly expect 80+ points out of Jax-Pitt. The Jags were just on, and got ahead by too much too early. The Steelers played well enough; their only mistakes seemed to be looking ahead past the game too much and a couple of poor 4th-and-short plays. A couple incredible touchdowns to Brown, though, some real highlights.

Vikings-Saints was just gape-inducing. I thought the Vikings badly mismanaged the clock late, and left the Saints too much time to take the lead back at the end (which NO did, of course). No one could have foreseen that completion from Keenum to Diggs with time expiring, though. Just mind-blowing.

Atlanta lost again because they didn't know how to run the ball when it mattered, imo. That's the most common coaching problem of the day; that and clock management. But running the ball in the red zone ought to be done a lot more than it is.

So on to Championship weekend. Let's go Pats.

I'm with you, TBC.

That DB would've had to call Uber to get back to New Orleans.

Has Mr Mo checked in? I'd hate for him to do something stupid over the ending of that game.

It's only a game, Mr Mo.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

I hope we get that level of excitement in the next games, rather than the usual Patriot blowouts.

Now why would they do that? Could it have anything to do with how often they mention "Las Vegas bookmakers"?

Spoiler: notes
gift cards make great gifts both for shoppers who are lazy and/or have a lot of gifts to buy. They're also a shrewd choice if there are individuals in your life for whom it is difficult to shop. When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

Please consider doing at least some of your holiday shopping through our astore this year.

Brady's got an injured finger, possibly won't start.
