Sorry your day blew so hard and you didn't even get the satisfaction of fighting :P Hope your today is better, Cat.
I felt bad laughing at the whole thing, including the cat knocking over the much-needed wine and breaking the glass.

We had a nightmare trip once on Amtrak -- I love train travel but when it goes wrong, you're just trapped in the flames of hell without toilet paper or fresh water. (This is probably true of plane travel too, but I just haven't done enough of that to know.)

And, good to see you, deadpoet7, when we're all being (somewhat) normal humans and not suspecting each other of being murderers and goombahs.

At least she wasn't driving.

She's even worse at that than I am.

One of the residents at the retirement center calls me "Mr. Exercise". She also called me "Troy", which is oddly similar to "Todd".

Just wanted to explain where my last post came from. Scot! triggered my hippocampus.

And don't feel bad, the whole day/night was funny in a "Why is this happening to me?" kind of way. And I'm home safe which is all that matters. Oh and I had more wine, that mattered too. We would have had a serious problem if that was the last of it.

I did discuss the issues with Amtrak today.

Like tomorrow you will go get your trust paperwork taken care of. X # of attainable job apps that you can actually accept per week. etc. Az is right too, you can't help someone else at the expense of your family. One thing that still sticks out to me is the midnight walk. She was doing something for two hours in the middle of the night. And I doubt she was hunting pokemon. If it wasn't a romantic interlude, then what was it? Any chance of a drug problem? Was she sneaking by her dad's house for some reason? (To get an item she left behind. Enact some form of revenge like key his car.)
Hannah has since talked to her. Apparently, she is planning on moving out by the end of this month...that's her plan. She is moving in with another friend. My husband took her today to figure out the trust paperwork.

I don't know what the hell she was doing out that late...it's pitch black, we are in a relatively rural neighborhood. We have mostly woods. She has NO money...at all. Nothing. So, I'm doubtful on the drugs. I really think she is just plain weird. Seriously. Her guinea pig died and she asked me to drop her off at a walking trail about a mile from our house. She spent 2 hours there burying her animal and having a "funeral." I'm not kidding...2 hours.
