Re: ZOO (CBS)

The episode moved the storyline along with more and more animals being affected.
Too bad the 2nd wife died, but she's on the island, and like Spock being sent out into the Genisis Planet, I can only imagine that she might be regenerated herself while being dead on that island with radioactivity levels. There are so many questions the boys (ha ha on me) could ask her.

Regarding the horses and the graphic show of them sans eyes.
A few years ago I attended a Civil War re-enactment. There was a horse that looked similar and as it came closer to me I saw that it did not have one eye. It was a hollow socket. It's owner/rider re-enactor was in the make shift corral and I asked him what happened to the eye. My thoughts were that it had an infection or cancer and it was removed.
The re-enactor told me that his hors had its eye poked out by a tree branch!

Anyways just a little tidbit there.

This show is always just so so to me, but it is something to get me through the dry summer months.

I enjoy this show. Guess I have not much in common regarding shows around this place anymore.

Re: ZOO (CBS)

This is turning into some goofy fun. Bats in Antarctica? Wouldn't they freeze? Loved how the ornithologists were thwarted by one winged mammal, I guess the methodology for catching birds is totally incompatible with catching a flying hairy critter, no way two veteran bird scientists could have stopped that bat from kamikaze-ing into their space heater and destroying all hope for survival. Must have packed up all their nets for the winter. At least they died together, listening to that awesome mix tape. The Scooby gang went after a whole pack of wolves that they know can break into a prison, murder a crapload of people, free a mass murderer, and set the place on fire afterwards, with one net gun and nothing else, no real guns, sharp sticks, wolf repellant, dog whistles, nothing? That was ballsy. Miles Matheson MacGuyvering a test for the wolf virus (?) using a car battery and some coconuts was pretty awesome.

Re: ZOO (CBS)

All these critters are amazing. I agree regarding the bats in Antarctica. Wolves are smart to start with but man they are just geniuses now. They have a connection with that mass murderer that I am still trying to understand. Is he connected or the wolves connected to him? Did the wolves allow him to link up?

I never read the book by James Patterson but I haven't heard anyone speak badly of his work. I just hope this show doesn't go the way of Under the Dome.

I re-watched this epi last night as I fell asleep during its initial run dammitall.
LOL on that one bat taking down the wives' operation. They were afraid of it getting into their hair.

Then the alpha dude, eww, what the heck did he roll in besides a dead animal? That yellowy brown stuff on his forehead, and that is all I can think of during that scene. What is that stuff? I had some ideas.

Then the final scene, well it happened again, I fell asleep. Pooh. What happened? All I rmember is some scratching sounds going on.

Re: ZOO (CBS)

I'm watching the 3rd ep right now. I'm not too interested in the reasons I am just enjoying the animals getting their own back. Muuhaha.

ETA and I'm crushin' on Abe. mmmmmm

ETA eww just saw the horses.

Am watchin' with my dog and the animal noises are keeping her awake.

Ok caught up now. I'm with cmdr -- it's goofy but fun. I wanted to add that not one of the armed prison officers thought to shoot a wolf. And why would the bats be happy about freeing doves in Antarctica where they would freeze? Anyway, I did love the hotel room experiment. Mr FBI guy might come over to the Scooby gang and give Jackson some competition for the French chick.
