House
OK - I did a search, because I couldn't believe that this awesome show didn't have its own thread.
This is one of THE best shows around right now. Hugh Laurie is excellent - and the humor is such a release/relief every week. I never miss it. I've been hooked for a long time now - almost as much as LOST, I should say.
This season (the 3rd) has been really good so far - I've enjoyed every episode. I have both the first two seasons on DVD - and enjoy just watching one of the "good" ones for a laugh. I even enjoy watching the reruns on USA network on Friday night.
Anyone else love this show? It is one of the best "dramas" on TV right now. What are your thoughts? How's the 3rd season going for you?
(and mods - if there is a thread on this - sorry, please merge. I did look)

Someone braver than me finally started this thread!
I absolutely LOVE HOUSE! I've watched it darn near since it started and it's one of only 3 shows I actually make time for (LOST, HOUSE, Grey's Anatomy). Tuesdays would never be the same without HOUSE.

Re: House
let see: junkie + cripple + smartass + doctor = LOST? Nope. For me it equals House. If Jack had half of House's personality, maybe Sarah wouldn't be getting her kicks on route 66. At least we have Christian...

Well Leuthen, that is why I asked you in chat last night if there was already a thread about this great show. I couldn't believe there wasn't!
I absolutely adore this show. I'm also VERY happy that it will be moving back to the more appropriate 9pm time slot after the baseball playoffs. Much better time for it. If it had stayed at 8pm, the humor would have suffered severely. Tell me HOW they would have gotten away with a show like the finale at 8pm! No way.
I'm glad that I'm not alone in liking this show. What do you see happening this season?

Re: House
Hell yeah! House is the best, it's my second favorite after Lost.

Re: House
I love House! Does anyone else reckon Cuddy is gonna have his love-child? They'll get in on towards the end of the season so she can have a baby.
"Unless you wanna make out..." -Wilson to Cuddy, episode 304
Most people think this is just a joke, but I reckon it is foreshadowing Wilson' s attraction to Cuddy. I predict a House-Cuddy-Wilson love triangle will be the main plot of Season 3.

Re: House
I love House and his obnoxious sense of humor. But, I have to say that the eye-rolling interns are starting to get on my nerves. It's the same thing every week. A complex, befuddling medical case, the interns present the case to House, he trashes their ideas, they roll their eyes, he makes them do whatever tests anyway, they prove he's wrong, he has them test for something else, they roll their eyes, they prove he's wrong, they argue, they roll their eyes, and on and on until House has a revelation and the mystery is solved. All of this with lots of ethical questions that are actually what make the show somewhat interesting. The best part about this show are the encounters with Cuddy and the baby-faced best friend, Dr. what's-his-name. But I do like the show, I'm just sayin.........

Re: House
I couldn't believe there wasn't one already!
I don't think that Cuddy will have House's baby. If it does happen that way, I can't see it being good for the show. It would give him MUCH more to crack on if it is someone else's or from a donor. I would hope that it isn't Wilson's either.
It's a repeat this week of "Who's your daddy?", but that was a good one. AND - it is back on at 9pm. I like it much better at that time. We won't get a new episode until Baseball is over.
