The salesman in the toy store that sold Jin the Panda said that it was the "year of the dragon," the last one being the year 2000. (The next year of the dragon is 2012). So we're to assume that that's when Sun and Jin got married, right? Do you think this is significant in any other way?

i think that was more of a clue in the middle of the show that it was a flashback

I still think you're safe to assume that's when they were married too (due to the "Someday, I've only been married two months..." Jin quote)...
