I thought the title was "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"?

Not that it really matters much. It comes down to meaning the same thing - what the hell happened to Locke, starting with his departure from the island and ending with his eternal stay in a cozy pine box.

Though for a show where dead people stay dead, they sure like to pop up here and there.

They have to keep Locke around - where would the story be without him ? What about "Man of Science, Man of Faith". If Locke dies Jack will go off on a sob-fest that we can only begin to imagine. Hypocrite ...........

To me, the title gives more away than we realize. It's not just talking about the death of Jeremy Bentham, but the LIFE of him.

Perhaps he's not actually Locke, but a time-traveling copy of Locke. This episode will show how we was "born" and how he died.

I was thinking of that a few days ago devrsw. I think you have a valid point and, though it would be a little "out there", it's a theory I'd love to see play out on the show.
