The Conspirator
Synopsis: Mary Surratt (Robin Wright Penn) is the lone female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln. As the whole nation turns against her, she is forced to rely on her reluctant lawyer (James McAvoy) to uncover the truth and save her life.
Greenberg
Synopsis: In this new film by Noah Baumbach (
The Squid and the Whale), Ben Stiller plays a New Yorker who moves to Los Angeles in order to figure out his life while he house-sits for his brother, and he soon sparks a relationship with his brother’s assistant.
Paul
Synopsis: Two British comic book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51.
Shaun of the Dead and
Hot Fuzz stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost play the geeks, Seth Rogen voices the titular alien, Paul. Expect comedic cameos galore.
The Rum Diary
Synopsis: Based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson, Paul Kemp (Johnny Depp) is a freelance journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean. Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction.
The Three Stooges
Synopsis: The Farrelly Brothers (
