I know that there are quite a few musicians on the forum and I've hit a bit of a dead end as far as recording my own music at home. I'd really like to collaborate with folks via the internet if anyone is willing.

I play guitar/drums/bass/keys and I've been recording music with Adobe Audition and Pro-Tools for a very long time so I have a fairly good amount of experience with production. I don't quite know yet how to get things rolling but I'd like to hear if anyone is interested.

If need be I can start things off with a drum track or drum and bass track. Any genre is a possibility.

I am willing. I play piano. I have a Roland at home that plugs into the USB and has all the fancy voices and stuff. I have the software around here somewhere.

I'm not feeling well.

As far as genres, I can technically play just about anything. But I would need an example that I could emulate.

I think we should just let things progress naturally. We could probably start with a drum track and go from there. I'm going to wait on it a bit and see if anyone else wants to contribute. If not, we'll get rich and famous all by ourselves.

So what do you like to play Scot? I am going to record some stuff today and was planning on doing a kind of blues thing. 4/4 time of course. I'll record and then I will post the results. If you like it or can come up with a piano riff for it that would be swell.

That sounds fine. You're doing drums? The only thing I would ask is if you lay down a guitar track to at least make it in a key that is relatively piano-friendly (G is better than, for example, F# or something weird).

I'm pretty sure I have Audition on this computer. So just leaving it in that file format should be ok.

Kool idea. Unfortunately I never learned to play the guitar.

I used to write lyrics ages ago.

I planned on doing some guitar. I'll probably either mix it down to a high quality mp3 or leave as an audition file.
