Re: grosser

Swamp by far.

And i think the "definition" of "art" can be much broader than your post would seem to suspect. Just as a single (particularly controversial, to be sure, but undeniably artistic) example, Piss Christ won grants and awards for being challengingly creative.

This post is in no way intended to glorify nor demean Piss Christ itself, merely to use it as a example.

agree i don't mind the smell of compost, it makes me think farming.

art is way too subjective for me to discuss.

Re: grosser

I think it's grosser to leave it. We used to call them lawn sausages.

Then one evening at some Albany nightclub i saw The Lawn Sausages. They were pretty good. I'll leave a lawn sausage on the thread entitled Cow Tippin'!, from the album Kick Out The Hams (great MC5 reference for those who don't know), an album i eventually bought on cassette and played to death. It's so nice that so many of these 90's Albany bands are now available on YouTube, back then Spin magazine consistently ranked Albany in the top ten local music scenes in the US, and twice we made #5. Anyway, i'll make with the sausage and then leave a disgusting proposition.

Would you rather watch 2 hours of old-school (pre-lasers) eye surgery or sit front and center for an entire Gwar concert?

Re: grosser

I saw the raw chicken foot product one time in our fridge growing up, and decided that was one thing I would never need to gnaw on. I can't imagine there's any meat at all, mostly just skin. And toenails.

Never tried chicken livers or cows stomach (well hot dogs maybe have that), BUT I've had liver cheese which is pork livers. Not bad as long as you've got mustard or mayo or hot sauce.

Re: grosser

The chicken feet have to be fried. Just a big bunch of crunch. Ya gotta get past the odd part of chomping on a claw... not too bad.
So come on, give me some gross stuff!

having to pick up (can't remember if it's yours) used dental floss, or having to remove wet toilet paper off a public toilet
